Growl 59 Humbucker

The Growl 59 is built to capture the somewhat hotter side of late ’50s PAFs – where clarity meets attitude, pushing amps a little bit harder. It’s designed for players who want authentic PAF character, but with a touch more authority.

At its core, the Growl 59 is wound slightly hotter than the Bloom 57 and Snap 58, delivering increased output and a stronger midrange voice without losing the openness PAFs are known for. A carefully dialed-in coil offset adds articulation and feel, making the pickup respond effortlessly to your picking dynamics.

The result is a tone that stays open and woody, with a tight, controlled low end and a vocal midrange that cuts without harshness. Even in the neck position, notes remain clear and defined, never collapsing into mud.

Whether it’s classic rock, blues, or even classic metal, the Growl 59 delivers that unmistakable late ‘50s character with just enough extra push to make your amp come alive.
