<g:title>Set Neck Makeover</g:title>
      <g:description>

The Burst Les Paul is the Stradivari of the electric guitar world.

We’ve all seen them — faded late ‘50s Bursts, each one unique in color, weather checking, and wear.

But very few modern guitars truly capture that magic. Most Historic
Reissues fall short. Only a handful, like parts of the discontinued CC
line, ever came close.

Let’s change that.

A true vintage-correct makeover

Complete refinish with historically accurate nitrocellulose lacquer

I use nitro lacquer without plasticizers, allowing your guitar to feel,
breathe, and age like a true vintage instrument. Over time, it will
naturally develop weather checking and character.

Custom sunburst, tailored to your vision

Dive into references like BurstSerial.com , Beauty of the Burst, or Burst Believers, and show me what you see in your mind.

With aniline dyes, your guitar can even fade over time, creating those
iconic “burst shadows” under the pickguard and poker chip.

Neck reshape & top carve refinement

Using templates derived from original Bursts, along with years of
hands-on experience, I refine the feel of your instrument. A great neck
isn’t measured — it’s felt. And it should feel right the moment you pick
it up.

Authentic aging

Once the finish has cured, your guitar receives a bespoke aging treatment.

From factory-fresh (NOS) to lightly worn or heavily aged — always with one goal: realism.

No artificial abuse, no shortcuts. Just believable, musical wear that tells a story.

Professional setup

Because even the best guitar falls flat without the right setup.

Transparent communication

Throughout the process, I’ll keep you updated with photos and progress
reports. Your guitar isn’t just another project — it’s a collaboration.

Included with every makeover

Certificate of authenticity

Handmade photo book with analog images documenting the process and handwritten notes

USB drive with a custom Tonex profile for your guitar

Optional: a custom-wound pickup set, tailored specifically to your instrument.

Pricing (important)

A complete makeover is €1800, or €1600 when paid upfront.

Payment options:

2 installments of €900 (final payment due upon completion)

1 upfront payment of €1600

Return shipping is included.

</g:description>

      <g:title>Fiesta 61 Singlecoil Set</g:title>
      <g:description>

The Fiesta ’61 set is inspired by the raw Strat tones heard on Corridors of Power by Gary Moore.

Rather than aiming for a soft,
scooped vintage sound, this set captures the more aggressive side of
early 60s Strats, pushing a Marshall Super Bass to its limits. Notes
have a percussive attack with tight low end, present mids and a stinging
top end that cuts through effortlessly.

Built around slightly degaussed
Alnico V magnets, the Fiesta ’61 set delivers clarity and punch while
retaining the dynamic response of a true pre-CBS instrument.

The set comes vintage correct
without RWRP for maximum openness and authenticity. A hum-cancelling
middle pickup can be selected as an option.

Rather than relying on overwound designs, this set captures the
clarity, dynamics and natural response of a real 1961 Stratocaster. The
same foundation behind the tones heard on Corridors of Power.

Specs:

6,2 kOhm Bridge, 6,0 kOhm Middle, 6,2 kOhm Neck pickups with degaussed Alnico V magnets with correct stagger and bevel

Handwound with Elektrisola Heavy Formvar like Fender did back in the day

Vintage-correct  hookup wire

Flatwork made out of vulcanized Fiber Board

Waxpotted in paraffin wax

String spacing 52.4mm

</g:description>

      <g:title>Wildcard Set</g:title>
      <g:description>

Not every Burst sounded the same.

In the late 1950s, Gibson built
pickups with whatever materials were at hand, and production processes
were far from streamlined. Even though PAFs were machine-wound, magnets
varied, coils were simply filled and no one paid attention to matching
pickups as sets.

This is exactly what gave every Burst its own unique voice.

The Wild Card PAF Set is built around that idea.

Instead of aiming for perfect balance, this set embraces asymmetry. An underwound bridge pickup meets a hotter, singing neck – creating a contrast that gives your instrument a truly unique sonic signature

This set is a bit like a gamble.
You can choose the safer option (‘58), featuring a classic double black
look under the covers, or go for the more random route (‘59–’60), where
each set came with a unique combination of bobbins, just like back in
the day. Also depending on that choice the wind and magnets will be a
little bit different, to reflect different stages in PAF evolution.

All sets come with nickel covers installed, just like on real Bursts.

This set captures the spirit of late ’50s humbuckers, with all the quirks that made them special in the first place.

Specs:

7,4-8,1 kOhm Bridge Pickup, 7,9-8,6 kOhm Neck Pickup, Alnico II, IV, or V magnets, varying coil offsets and winding parameters

Machine wound with 42 AWG Plain Enamel wire, replicating the winding patterns of machines from the 1950s

Vintage-correct 2-strand braided hookup wire

Butyrate bobbins, available in black, zebra, reverse zebra, light cream, and dark cream

Vintage-style baseplates with L-tooling marks and PAF decal

Steel components made from period-correct low carbon steel

Sand-cast Alnico magnets, made in the USA

Authentic nickel silver covers with dimpled polepiece holes, available in new, light aged, or heavy aged

</g:description>

      <g:title>Bloom 57 Humbucker Set</g:title>
      <g:description>

The Bloom 57 set is built to capture
the sweetness of the earliest PAF humbuckers. It is the warmest and
softest of the lineup, delivering a smooth, rounded tone while still
remaining very vocal in character. Notes seem to bloom effortlessly,
with a gentle, slightly slower attack and a natural compression that
makes every phrase feel fluid.

The top end is sweet and never harsh,
while the low end remains big but defined, striking a nice balance. It
excels at lead playing and clean chords, offering a very singing quality
that allows notes to sustain and flow with ease.

Part of this character can be traced
back to the early days of PAF production in Kalamazoo. After the
transition from P90s, remaining stocks of Alnico III magnets were still
being used in some of the earliest humbuckers. In the Bloom 57, this is
reflected in the neck pickup, contributing to its softer attack, reduced
magnetic pull and open, woody response. The bridge pickup features an
Alnico II magnet, adding warmth, sweetness and a slightly looser feel
under the fingers.

Compared to the Snap 58, the Bloom
57 is less percussive, trading bite for warmth and immediacy for
additional smoothness. It still responds beautifully to touch, but
always with a softer edge, making it an inspiring choice for highly
melodic playing, especially on the cleaner side.

The Bloom 57 is ideal for players who are looking for a warm, organic and highly musical PAF clone.

Specs:

7,8kOhm Bridge Pickup, 7,7kOhm Neck Pickup, Sand-cast A3 magnet in the neck, A2 in the bridge position

Machine wound with 42 AWG Plain Enamel wire, replicating the winding patterns of Gibson machines from the 1950s

Vintage-correct 2-strand braided hookup wire

Butyrate bobbins, available in black, zebra, reverse zebra, light cream, and dark cream

Vintage-style baseplates with L-tooling marks and PAF decal

Steel components made from period-correct low carbon steel

Sand-cast Alnico magnets, made in the USA

Authentic nickel silver covers with dimpled polepiece holes, available in new, light aged, or heavy aged

</g:description>

      <g:title>LP/SG/ES Wiring Harness </g:title>
      <g:description>

Built with uncompromising attention
to detail, this wiring harness is designed to get as close as possible
to the feel and response of an original late 50s Centralab assembly.

It uses only the finest components available, including hand-selected, low-torque CTS 570k potentiometers, carefully chosen NOS PIO capacitors, 20 AWG bus wire and spaghetti tubing
on the capacitor leads for a clean, vintage-correct appearance. The
potentiometers are 10% audio taper, offering a smooth and highly usable sweep that reacts naturally to your playing.

In my opinion, this is as close as you can get to an original Burst-era Centralab harness, without having
to source and trust decades-old components.

This harness is available with short-shaft potentiometers only.

Please note that each harness is fitted with PIO capacitors that are available at the time of assembly.
Currently, I use K40Y, K42Y or Gudeman PIO capacitors. From time to time, special options such as NOS Bumblebee or Vitamin Q capacitors will be offered for an additional charge.

For players seeking a slightly clearer neck response, a lower value capacitor can be selected for the neck tone control.

</g:description>

      <g:title>Snap 58 Humbucker Set</g:title>
      <g:description>

The Snap 58 set is the quintessential PAF. It is a chimey and bright set, yet still complex, organic and incredibly responsive under the fingers. It captures what many describe as the “Tele-on-steroids” tone often associated with late 50s Sunburst Les Pauls.

It delivers a clear, articulate top end with a fast attack and an immediate response to your picking hand. It can shift from a piercing bite to soft, delicate tones purely depending on how hard you dig in. The neck pickup has an almost single coil-like quality, remaining crystal clear while still retaining authority and a strong fundamental, unlike many lower-wound PAF-style pickups.

The Snap 58 is what I would describe as the dark horse of the lineup. It doesn’t try to impress with sheer output or thickness, but instead with honesty, immediacy and feel. It rewards precise playing while always remaining musical and expressive, ultimately reflecting the player more than anything else.

This set is suitable for a wide range of musical styles, ranging from blues and country to jazz and classic rock and is aimed at players who are looking for maximum expression.

Specs:

7,4kOhm Bridge Pickup, 7,5kOhm Neck Pickup, Sand-cast A2 magnet in the bridge, A4 in the neck pickup

</g:description>

      <g:title>Growl 59 Humbucker Set</g:title>
      <g:description>

The Growl 59 is built to capture the somewhat hotter side of late ’50s PAFs – retaining clarity while pushing an amp a little harder. It’s designed for players who want authentic PAF character, but with a bit more authority.

At its core, the Growl 59 is wound slightly hotter than the Bloom 57 and Snap 58, delivering increased output and a stronger midrange voice without losing the openness PAFs are known for. A carefully dialed-in coil offset adds articulation and feel, making the pickup respond effortlessly to your picking dynamics.

The result is a tone that stays open and woody, with a tight, controlled low end and a vocal midrange that cuts through without harshness. Even in the neck position, notes remain clear and defined, never collapsing into mud.

Whether it’s classic rock, blues, or even classic metal, the Growl 59 delivers that unmistakable late ‘50s character with just enough extra push to make your amp come alive.

Specs:

8,2kOhm Bridge Pickup, 7,7kOhm Neck Pickup, Sand-cast A4 magnets

Machine wound with 42 AWG Plain Enamel wire, replicating the winding patterns of machines from the 1950s

Vintage-correct 2-strand braided hookup wire

Butyrate bobbins, available in black, zebra, reverse zebra, light cream, and dark cream

Vintage-style baseplates with L-tooling marks and PAF decal

Steel components made from period-correct low carbon steel

Sand-cast Alnico magnets, made in the USA

Authentic nickel silver covers with dimpled polepiece holes, available in new, light aged, or heavy aged

</g:description>
